Hi, how are you, thanks for visiting my site, as you can see, there are still some things to do, but believe me we are working on it. This section, for example, I couldn’t find the words to start writing the information I wanted to write, so I will do the best I can.

My name is Tomás Martínez Trejo, I was a student at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, where I had the wonderful opportunity to do my Computer Systems Engineering degree (2008-2013) and, years later, my Master’s degree in Computer Science (2017-2019). The area of specialization of my graduate studies was Computer Vision using MATLAB for digital image processing.

After finishing my studies, I returned home to Ciudad Valles with my family, and started my path in web development (November 2019). The following year, in April, my father passed away, which to this day, has left a void in my heart, so I had to get away from everything for a couple of months.

It is in August 2021 when I return to my landing page creation activities, and I start my learning path in WordPress, making my first custom theme (totopo.mx). It is at this point that I begin to specialize in these themes, but I still had a long way to go.

At the end of my stay in Jarboss, I started looking for a job, arriving at DUDE Agency in January 2021, here I would be working until February 2023, and I would have the opportunity to meet wonderful people who would teach me how to use all kinds of WordPress plugins, builders like Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Avada, plugins to remove malware like Wordfence, for forms like Contact Form 7 and Advance Custom Fields. Although I didn’t work on the custom themes part at DUDE Agency, I was trained through workshops outside my working hours, and thanks to that, I did some development in my free time.

In February 2023 my time working at DUDE Agency ended, so I started to study a bit about WordPress themes that gave me problems at that time, and some time later, thanks to the invitation of a friend, I was able to work for a couple of months in Website Marketing Mexico (July 2023 – September 2023), here I was doing development and maintenance of sites in Elementor and Divi.

Finally, after finishing my work time in September, I had the opportunity to come to Wired IT in September 2023, doing landing page development and custom themes for WordPress, my work time was only until January 12, 2024. My short stay in this company was due to personal problems, my mother in September began to have health problems, and as the months passed, her condition began to deteriorate more, it was until the month of October that they detected the cause, which was cancer. We fought the best we could against the disease and the sadness, but she ended up passing away on January 23rd of this year (2024).

I have thought a lot about this, and I think it was for the best, the fact that they ended my working relationship was completely understandable, I was no longer working 100% because of my situation, in the end I was able to be in the last days of my mother’s life, and I will treasure them with all my heart.

I think that’s all for my part, I’m still working on increasing my knowledge, I still need to learn PHP, improve and polish the basics, and WordPress, for now I’m studying the development of plugins and Woocommerce.
